Terms & Conditions
"Handled with Care, Delivered with Trust"
Last updated: 6 September 2026
These Comprehensive Service Guidelines govern your use of Vestido Fabwash Studio services. Please read them carefully — placing an order or handing over garments constitutes acceptance of these terms.
1. Our Commitment & Professional Standards
- Industry Processes: We follow professional, industry-standard processes across all cleaning and finishing services.
- Premium Supplies: Our studio utilizes high-quality, fabric-safe, and eco-conscious products to ensure the longevity of your garments.
- Meticulous Handling: Every garment is handled with care, precision, and strict attention to detail by a team committed to excellence.
- Service Discretion: We reserve the right to refuse processing for items that are extremely damaged, hazardous, or pose a hygiene risk to our staff.
2. The Handover Protocol
- Pocket Clearance: Customers are strictly required to check and empty all pockets of cash, jewellery, or valuables. Vestido Fabwash Studio is not responsible for any personal items left within garments.
- Item Count: The count and description of garments recorded by our staff at the time of pickup or store-drop shall be deemed final. Customers should verify the item count on the spot.
- Special Declarations: Kindly inform our staff regarding delicate fabrics, existing stains, or specific care instructions to help us deliver the best results.
- Care Labels: We process garments based on provided care label instructions. Items without labels or with incorrect labels are processed at the customer's risk using industry-standard methods.
3. Service Categories & Limitations
- Wash and Fold: This service uses fabric-safe detergents for a clean finish but is not designed for deep stain removal or wrinkle elimination.
- Dry Cleaning: We employ specialized, gentle processes designed specifically for delicate and premium wear.
- Steam Ironing: We utilize controlled, fabric-specific heat for a professional appearance. We are not responsible for heat-sensitive materials that cannot withstand standard steam temperatures.
- Designer & Ethnic Wear: For heavy silks, Kanjeevarams, and hand-embellished wear, we use specialized care; however, the integrity of stones, beads, and metallic threads (Zari) is processed at the owner's risk due to the fragile nature of hand-work.
4. Stain Treatment & Fabric Behavior
- Removal Expectations: While we take special care to treat or reduce stains, 100% removal is not guaranteed as some stains are permanent.
- Service Fees: Stain treatment requires additional labor and materials; therefore, charges apply regardless of the final visual result.
- Natural Characteristics: Certain reactions are inherent to the fabric and are not process defects. These include color fading, dye bleeding, shrinkage, or texture changes.
5. Limitations of Liability
- Pre-existing Condition: We are not responsible for damage to items with pre-existing wear, weak fibers, or material aging.
- Attachments: Loose attachments (buttons, beads, sequins, buckles) may become detached during standard processing.
- Wear and Tear: Minor loosening of threads or buttons is a natural part of cleaning used garments and does not constitute damage.
- Mechanical Failures: We are not liable for the failure of elastic bands or zippers that have degraded due to age or prior use.
- Coordinated Sets: In the case of suits or ethnic sets, our liability is strictly limited to the individual piece that is damaged or lost, and not the value of the entire set.
6. Timelines, Delivery & Storage
- Turnaround Times: We strive to meet committed delivery timelines. However, delays may occur due to garment complexity, high load, or external factors like power breakdowns, rain, and natural calamities.
- Delivery Attempts: For pickup and drop services, a maximum of two delivery attempts will be made. Subsequent collection must be done from the store.
- Handover Boundary: Items delivered to authorized representatives (security desks, neighbors) at the customer's request are considered successfully delivered.
- Storage & Disposal: Garments must be collected within 15 days of the "Ready" notification. Storage charges apply after 15 days. Items not collected within 30 days may be disposed of or donated at our discretion without further liability.
7. Loss or Damage Claims
- Compensation Cap: In the unlikely event of proven improper handling by our staff, compensation is limited to up to 10 times the service charge for the specific item.
- Exclusions: This does not apply to natural fabric behavior, pre-existing wear, or weak embellishments.
- Claim Window: All claims must be raised within 24–48 hours of delivery to be eligible for review.
